About Me
I'm Naveen, an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. My interests are currently in scalable systems design to solve everyday problems and augmenting the human condition with the power of computing.
Outside of tech, I spend my time writing screenplays, going on whatever sidequest presents itself, and volunteering in my community. I'm a big music person, with my current rotation including Noah Kahan, RHCP, Kendrick Lamar, Radiohead, Clipse, and Saba. You'll usually find me at a concert, catching a football or baseball game, or hunting down a good local spot to eat or drink. I also have a soft spot for movies and genuinely believe that trying something new spontaneously is almost always worth it.

- ▹Created RTK GPS data-logging system in GeoJSON using Rust with Serde for easier open-source integration, improving performance by 11%.
- ▹Revamped metadata architecture by tripling metadata collection, allowing for greater data analysis of deployed robots in the field.
Things I've Built
Campus Waste Auditing
Flutter-based Firebase application for waste image collection, tagging, and real-time data reporting. Integrated beta testing with 300+ UCSC Sustainability Officers. Fine-tuned PyTorch image classification models to automate waste identification with AI-assisted tagging.
Lock-In Factory
Social accountability app built with Flutter and Firebase to promote a culture of greater productivity. Led a team of three through system design and development. Beta tested with 50 users, driving a reported 80% boost in habit engagement and goal accomplishment.
